Space Dogs Ski Club might never launch into space, but we share the same audacity to push our limits (and have a lot of fun) in cross-country skiing.

 

I founded Space Dogs in 2014, as a masters training group, sharing my deep knowledge & passion, thanks to racing in 2 Olympics + 10 years racing on the World Cup circuit (including 2 podiums!),

 

Just like the scientists of the 1950’s would send the toughest and well trained dogs into space, the high-performance training has been preparing our ambitious group of skiers to reach their personal bests.

Nowadays, our total club membership is capped at 69 skiers across 3 groups: RecFun, RecFAST & Performance.

​

We also keep our skier to coach ratio at 8-to-1 or less, because we care about the quality of your skiing and we really like to provide plenty of personalized feedback.

​

And speaking of coaches, many are ex-National Ski Team and Olympian skiers with decades of training, world-class, international racing and masters' coaching experience.

​

You can often spot a Space Dog skiing at our beloved Confederation Golf Course in Calgary, and further in the wild, across AB mountains ski trails.
